King Pins are forged from quality alloy Cr-Mo Steel (42 CrMo4 / AISI-4140), rough machined and heat treated (hardened and tempered to 230-280 BHN).
The physical properties are checked after heat treatment and ultrasonic testing carried out. Only after acceptance, these are taken up for finished machining as per client's exact requirement.The drill holes are drilled with the help of drilling jig.
After finish machining, magnetic particle testing is carried to rule out any surface or sub-surface defects.
The King Pins are given a coat of anti-rust paint and properly packed in wooden crates for shipment.
We manufacture King Pins of 2", 2.5" and 3.5" Dia alongwith custom made specific requirement of the buyer.
